India's Republic Day Celebrations - Call for Cultural Registrations

McLean County India Association is celebrating India's 69th Republic Day on Saturday Jan. 27th 2018. 

All members and non-members are welcome to attend the event.

We are calling for cultural registrations. Please find the attached guidelines/rules for the event. It is mandatory that theme of every performance is patriotic only, non-partriotic nominations will be deferred for Talent Show in May.

Here are the program details :
Event  : India's Republic Day Celebration
Date    : Saturday, Jan 27th,
Time    : 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM
Venue : Alumni Center, Illinois State University
             1101 N Main St, Normal, IL 61761.

Cultural Program Guidelines:

1. All cultural registrations must be submitted thru registration link provided, on or before Jan 14^th 2018. It’s imperative for all stage participants to be MCIA members of 2018. Due to time and other logistic constraints, only first 15 registrations will be accepted.
2. It is mandatory that theme of every performance is patriotic only.
3. The duration for each group event can be for a maximum of 4 minutes, with a minimum of 4 people on stage throughout the performance. For Skits, the maximum allowed duration is 7 minutes (including setting up of props) with a minimum of 4 people.
4. All tracks must be submitted in MP3 format only and must be sent to ourmcia@gmail.com by Jan 23^rd.
5. Religious, Regional and/or Politically Sensitive Audio (songs, phrases, poetry, and so on), Performances and/or Visuals will NOT be encouraged.
6. All participants in group events must be older than 5 years.
7. Lyrics for all songs should be age appropriate and neat.
8. On the day of the event the coordinator and their entire team should be present near the stage 30 mins prior to their program timings.
9. Photos & Names of the groups will be displayed on the screen during the performance. All coordinators will need to submit a photo of their respective groups along with participant/coordinator full names.

MCIA Cultural committee reserves the right to reject/approveentries based on above guidelines.
